"My friend. I have long waited for this for you. I have watched and listened and sent recommendations and been miffed when it didn’t happen. You have taught me so much and so many others. The entire kingdom has benefited from your art. This is overdue and a grand thing to happen. I’m
So proud to call you my friend, my fellow vigilant and now, my fellow Laurel
Love you"

"YEHAW. I knew I wasn't going to make it out to your vigil because I generally don't do vigils. I think maybe I can just go up to you and yak about advice or such, and I want to save that time for people who are more anxious or not as familial with you as I am.
I just want to tell you how proud of you I am. I knew this day was coming for you, but I wish I wasn't bald before it happened. The quality of clothing and hats and wild amazing things I've seen from your labors have been so amazing. I'm in awe of your skill and talent. I'm so grateful that the King and Queen officially recognized you for what you've been doing for so many years already. I know it got tough and you felt like maybe you weren't seen for a hot minute, but I saw, I admired, and look at you now."

"I am so happy for you, I'm sorry I couldn't make it to Blackstone this year to congratulate you in person"

"As you keep vigil this day, know that the threads of your journey have been seen, felt, and deeply appreciated by those around you.
With needle and cloth, you have done more than create garments—you have helped shape identities, bring dreams to life, and give others the confidence to stand proudly in the world we share. Each stitch carries with it your care, your patience, and your generosity of spirit.
The work you have done has quietly strengthened this community in ways both seen and unseen, binding people together just as surely as the seams you craft.
May this day offer you reflection, calm, and certainty. May you move forward with confidence, knowing that the path before you is one you have already proven yourself worthy to walk.
You are absolutely worthy of this honor."
